Those Galciv Ambassadors Really could use training.

Minding my own business just coming along, developing a bit when Pow!!! One of your ambassadors assassinates the Arcean leader.... Poof instant war

Next turn. While the Altarian was on a visit, one of your diplomats insulted his wife. Poof, another war.

Believe it or not next turn.
One of your diplomats blah blah blah you need to spend more on espionage.
Poof, another war.

Three turns later Guess what.
Yor Leader Assassinated...

LMAO the only friends I have left are the Drengin and I've nearly annhiliated them... HEHE. LMAO this is gonna be fun.

Yup.

thats weird, i never had any problems like that from not spending money on espionage.

i usually forget about putting any money in espionage in a lot of my games. i only remember about the espionage slider thingy when i try to find out stats on another major, and when i see there is no information -thats when i remember i didnt put any money into it.

Boss, unplanned wars are good for you. Keeps the blood pumpling. It is not like those boring pre-planned limited wars or dastardly alpha strikes that take the alien out in one shot and take a lot of time to plot. No fun when you are the one who starts it and finishes it. Much better to be suprised. :)

True I am loving this game. HEHE I'm countering their military might by playing defensively meanwhile culture bombing one of the races at a time. The Arcean sectors are all turning blue.

This is one thing...

I've had 'high' or 'advanced' intel and still have someone assassinate a leader...is there any way to stop this?

Good Heavens T50557452, are you from the frozen lands to the north? There are only 2 things certain in this world, and none in Galciv. My experience is that funding espionage is not a complete failsafe. Ray will know for sure though.

Ah, I believe there are variants to this event. Those preventable by espionage and those that can't. I have gotten this event a number of times recently even though my espionage was advanced.
