I did the deed...

I had been jaded. After four moths of contemplating, I threw all my emotions to the wayside. I decided to give it a second chance. I never thought I'd touch another one as long as I lived. It hurt at first, but after the first five minutes the feeling was all too familiar...

SHUT UP YOU PERVERTS!

I decided to start practicing my (french-for the musically impaired) horn again! After taking a four month hiatus, I decided to play music for me, not for anyone or anything else. No more bullshit or emotional ties...just making music.

I have also decided to keep a practice log. If you are really bored, you can visit it at www.livejournal.com/users/horndiva

Congrats!

I played Trumpet for 9 years. I don't really want to pick it up again. I did buy a guitar once and never learned how to play it. I have been wanting to pick it up again.

Good for you Alison!I was in my Public School band...played the clarinet. I loved it but practice time was too time consuming so I retired it when I got to High School... I've regretted it ever since.

Thanks! They say that half of the battle is getting the instrument out of the case...I believe it! My husband is a trumpet player...I tell him he's nuts

mano:
you should try it again if you have the time...Working full time was the reason I stopped practicing, but now I have decided to pace myself with the time I have. In college I was playing 5 hours a day, I am working on just playing for 1 for now.
