resign option/button

I think a resign button or option would be a great thing to have. I'm really far in a game, but need several thousand turns to come anywhere near a victory through research of transcendence (or whatever its called) and would just like to resign and get my score, because even why i tried to get killed, my defenses were too good, and the transports stopped coming after a good 500 billion troops were dropped.
