DesktopX starts up with windows even though I haven't told it to...

Hey Support,

DesktopX seems to start up each time I boot windows, with the last enabled DesktopX Theme.
I dont like it - I love desktopX for the widgets, but not the themes, because I run dual monitors, and there are no good themese etc...

How can I stop DesktopX starting with windows :S

Right click the DX systray icon > select "Configure DesktopX" > Preferences tab > make sure "Run automatically when Windows starts" is not checked.

Check your starup folder, maybe you have an entry in there that's causing it to run at startup.

Start/ Run, type "msconfig" (w/o the qoutes) In Startups: un-check DesktopX.exe. Only your widget .exes should show. On the re-boot when the prompt comes up, check 'Do not show me this again', click OK
