DesktopX crashes when enter Edit Script !! HELP !!

I need to edit the scripts, but DesktopX closes emediatly when i right-click > Edit Scrpt on any object (that has script) !! I don't know why, and the problem became so thrustrating that that i've actually reinstalled the Windows, and it finally worked! But by the time i've (re)installed some other programs, the problem came back again! (I think after i've installed Java Runtime Environment and Diskeeper). Anyone got any ideea how can I get it work? Pls! I need to edit scripts!
