I'm walking down a path
Searching for myself
With everything I've got
I look to you for all the answers
But you can't give them to me
You only sit there and watch
Sleepless nights are a new pattern
Something I'm now very used to
And sometimes I cry myself to sleep
Only hoping for something to come into my life
Sometimes I just don't understand you
The things you do sometimes don't make sense
But all I want is for you to be happy
I don't want you to have to worry about me
And I don't want to have to worry about you
Yet I sit here and I do
If only life were easy
Then we'd have it made
None of us would put ourselves to shame
So I'll look at you one last time
Maybe then I'll find what I'm looking for
