It's at least marginally "The South." At least it's south of Kentucky. I personally believe that Kentucky is a "neutral zone" between North and South. Cell phones don't work there, every county is in a different time zone, and there's a cave monument every 50 feet...

A friend of mine, a Baptist minister, used to be on the tiny speck of Virginia that's on the east side of the Chesapeake Bay. That area makes West Virginia look like Metropolis...

West Virginia has at least one thing going for it. It's closer to Winston Cup races than Nashville. Ironic, isn't it? I move from Chicago to the South, and now I need to commute FURTHER to get to the nearest NASCAR race...

I'm about an hour away from Martinsville Speedway, about three hours from Richmond International and about 4-5 away from Bristol. Also only about 3-4 hours from Rockingham! :HOT:

Yes, the part of Virginia on the DelMarVa peninsula is really vacant. I've been to Chincoteague a couple of times. Nice when you want to get away from people.

Yes, the server for many GC1 empire sides is down. It's just like in Star Wars. The Republic is dead. There are just a few of us fighting against the Dark Side.
