Reposting after Thread removed - Only half of problem solved

Hello

Yes part of the problem is taken care of but I still get the
message when I try to download desktopx .

The pro desktopx has been removed from download, but desktopx
still shows new version and when you try to download it you get this message.

Error: Failed to validate your subscription or product information.
Result: Installation failed (9)

Programmers need to do a better job of QC and testing before releasing updates.

Just logged on and Stardock had another updated.

Downloaded, but above problem still there.

Only version of Stardock Central on site....didn't say Beta or Alpha,,,,

Yes, DesktopX is beta, and I understand there will be problems, but I
can't download it.

This new update did not fix the "desktop didn't exit correctly" error on startup.

I don't really know what to make of it all, but when I installed the program whose entry in SD Central was "DesktopX Professional", it did solve the problem you just mentioned:

Yes, the Professional version did, but I didn't think I was allowed to keep it so I uninstalled it.

Hello

Problem has been solved. Program changes caused my email
address to be invalid...I opened a new win.com account with
the same address i used to purchase products..Everything working okay now.
