Clock display in the SystemTray

I much prefer to have the SystemTray clock display 3 lines; Time, Day and Date rather than 2 lines; Time and Day. What needs to be changed in SkinStudio to modify an existing skin that has just the 2 lines to display all 3 lines?

THANKS!

I'm not sure, but I think Windows determines that, according to the font, and how much space is available.

Try going with a smaller font size in SS for the clock and see if that works.

Also set top and bottom content margins to zero to give it as much space as is available, note this will also affect
the way icons appear. I just tested, large size taskbar in WB user overrides, font arial, height 11, get three rows.
Even at 800x600 res can hardly read it. If you are using large custom ( click and drag ) takbar, content margins will
do what you want.

Tarkus: Font size doesn't seem to have any effect. Some of the skins that display all 3 lines have font sizes much larger than those that only show 2 lines.

Cavan1: I tried setting the top/bottom content margins to zero, but that didn't change anything either. Of course, I'm not 100% sure I changed the "content margins" for the right item either. hahaha Yes, dragging my Taskbar up to 3-high, from the double height I now have it does display the 3rd line. I always use a double-height Taskbar. But 3-high . . . that's really unacceptable, as you can easily imagine having a Taskbar that tall.

Hapkido, font height and weight and content margins are the only things that will adjust clock display. I have never seen a skin with more than 2 rows, most skins are set for small taskbar. Even when make taskbar a little bigger by using large font for buttons, I mean large 22, I can't get a font bigger than 12 to show three rows.
List a couple that show three rows for you so I can take a look and see if I can see how.

Jot down their font settings and try them in the skin(s) you're trying to adjust.

Just so you know, I always use a "double-height" taskbar. I wouldn't expect the default single height taskbar to display 3 lines, hehe.

But... here are a few skins that show 3 lines when using a double-height Taskbar:
- elsdee(light)
- Encoded
- Systronic-14 (new)

That should give you a nice sample from 3 different skinners and 3 totally different fonts, etc.

I should have said never seen more than two rows when using user overrides in WB set to large size taskbar. When click and drag normal taskbar to double size it is much larger than using WB setting. But it is still the content margins and font heights that will control how many rows of time and date are displayed.
