Yikes! 9 UP meetings in one turn?

At least that is what it looked like I was getting. After my first meeting I left the UP meeting event in the event list. On the next turn I got 8 or 9 (not sure exactly) more notices in the event list of UP meetings. I guess someone forgot to send the invitations to the other races, however, because noone showed up (the meeting screen did not appear in the next turn).
