random crash on Start of Combat

Have noticed that in both the large and gigantic Galaxies
random crashes occur when being initially attacked by another race, or when initiating contact. Very random, but system does crash back to Desk Top. AT least Retstore does bring you back about 5 turns before the crash, which does not happen again. But can later on.

Can you send me your saved game files of a game where you can reproduce this, along with any related files such as debug.err and GALCIV.EXE.CRA (making sure that they're from the game that crashed).
