A gap in Customization

Wish list

Maybe I sould post this in the Stardock Support Forum but as there is no program which addresses this need in the arsenal, I figured I'd post it more as a request.

I responded to a post earlier about a using OD+ as a "Customizable" toolbar, menu, etc. that could handle macros within an application. Most apps have some kind of toolbars set up, but they generally only send a single menu commands. There is a need, not currently covered by any Stardock product that I'm aware of, for this kind of product. I have used an X-Keys Pro 58-key pad for some time which I program with complex macro functions to use with AutoCad, PSP, Word and a few other programs that I use at work. I've also checked out a couple of programs in the past which create custom "macro embedded" toolbars (for any application) that will actually record mouse clicks as well as keyboard entries. One of these is Macro Toolbar (same people make EXEDesk).
I think that this is something the powers that be may want to look at incorporating into some of the "Customization" offerings already available. I'd love to see this kind of function in Right-Click. I already use Right-Click and OD+ as taskbar replacements. There is quite a bit of overlap. If RC was able to integrate into applications and record macros, I could retire my X-Keys pad and quit lugging it back and forth with my laptop. I'm not talking about writing scripts, I'm looking for a simple macro recorder. I know a bit of LISP and enough VBA to get by, but I don't want to have to be a programmer.
I'm just throwing out ideas. I know that there hasn't been an update to RC since February and I'm hoping to stimulate some interest in development. I'm not used to sending people off to another "Desktop Customization" website to get a product that addresses a need not addressed here.
Anyone else interested in this kind of functionality? Would Object Bar be a better vehicle? Opinions wanted.
