DesktopX upgrade

issue w/3.09

I just uninstalled my last version 3.xx to upgrade to the most current 3.09 and now I'am unable to install after download. I get a "installation failed" pop up message referring to some missing file "global time..." I'd like to get back at least a working version of DesktopX.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Using SDC? With archive?
If so try restoring an earlier.

Thanks, I forgot about that feature.

I wonder if anyone else is having problems upgrading to newest beta?

I'm trying to install DesktopX for the first time and I'm receiving the same error about "Global Time.exe_" not found.
Any way to access an earlier version of DesktopX?
Or do I have to wait for Stardock to fix this problem?

The same "installation failed" just as I tiried to install DesktopX for the first time. Again, Global Time.exe was not found.

I would suggest uninstalling DesktopX and reinstlaling. Global Time.exe is a widget included in there. For some reason, it's not finding it. Sounds like a bugaboo with the server's per-user updating system.

IIS had locked a file when syncing earlier in the week. This has already been addressed. Reinstall now and you'll be all set.
