Van Helsing Actress To Appear in Need For Speed

Electronic Arts has announced that model/actress, Josie Maran will be starring in the next Need for Speed title. Need for Speed Most Wanted will come with a new technology for rendering its stars. EA has created a process that enables them to take Hi-Definition footage of live actors and convert them into synthetic-looking videogame characters. EA claims that the new process will deliver "never-before-seen character, motion and facial fidelity with seamless integration into true 3D game environments."
Maran, who has played small roles in numerous movies like Van Helsing and The Aviator has been tasked with playing Mia in-game. Mia is responsible for pulling players deeper into the world of illegal street racing as they hope to rise to the top of the Blacklist. Need for Speed Most Wanted will rev up on PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, GBA, PSP and PC this fall.
