Outlaw Developer to Helm Arena Football Franchise

Hypnotix, the developer behind the popular Outlaw franchise, has been purchased and relocated to Orlando, Florida via Electronic Arts. The move will have Hypnotix merging into EA's other Orlando studio, EA Tiburon. Mike Taramykin,
President of Hypnotix, elaborated that the new studio has already been given a new task, to develop and launch the recently announced Arena Football franchise and other action oriented sports.
As for the fate of the Outlaw franchise, which includes Outlaw Gold, Outlaw Volleyball and Outlaw Tennis, the studio couldn't elaborate because they don't even own the franchise. MTV Games owns the entire franchise and will most likely carry on the series at some point but it is unknown if Global Star, the former publisher, will remain on as part of the team.
