Problem With Favorites Menu, Buttons & Skins

menu & buttons always different than the rest

I've had this problem for a while, and just now decided to ask for some input on it.

With many of the skins I use with WB, the Favorites menu on IE is almost always different in it's appearence than the rest of the skinned menus.

For example, the rollovers look different graphically and/or the font upon rollover appears differently (font doesn't change color upon rollover, and often cannot be seen since the bg color is the same as the font upon rollover throughout the favorites menu).

Why does this happen? Is there a way to fix it? Not that I've found thus far.

I don't know why the graphics seem slightly different, as do the fonts on rollover, with certain skins just on the favorites menu, but I'd like to fix that, unless it's the skins itself.

It's not all of them, just those that seem to have reall "fancy", different menu layouts...

...on skins such as Valve-Life, Digital2, Tronnix and just a few others.
Buttons can be the same way. With the skins mentioned above, I cant read the text on buttons, as it does what the Favorites menu does... the text shows up black, which is the bg color of the button/Favorites menu.
Thanks.

2 shots in the dark here: Try reinstalling Windowblinds and try disableing Icon Packager.

I just recently installed the latest WB version, so that's not the problem (and this happened before as well.

I don't have Icon Packager installed, as I don't change my icons.

It must be somether else.

The favorites menu is skinned differently than the rest of the menus ... I know I've heard why, just can't remember at the moment. Reinstalling won't help, as that is not the issue. It's one of those things that WB skinners have to work around as best they can.

I think that one of the problems may be that the font colour in those menus is difficult to control. I find it best to make the menuitem (i.e. highlighted item in a menu) has a mid-coloured background which contrasts ok with both dark and light text.
