Majorem Pays Way for Ballerium

Gamespot has received word that Majorem is making another attempt at seeing their MMO-RTS Ballerium, see the light of day. This is will be Majorem's third try, and will likely bring about their third publisher. Ballerium was initially set for a 2004 release date, to be published by Sanctum but was canceled due to problems with the publisher. Interplay then picked up the game in December, hoping to be ready for a Summer 2005 push, only to drop the game, due to their own financial troubles, in June.
Gamespot claims that Majorem has managed to dig into its own coffers and tap its fan-base for funds to setup the test servers again. Majorem plans to start the beta testing for Ballerium soon but warns that "it yet remains to be seen whether this could materialize into the continuation of the development of this MMO-RTS game."
