NatrualDesktop: Z-order of wallpa

I've been having trouble throughout the day with my wallpaper changing by time of day. I reviewed the setting on the "Custom" panel - all are set to "Dynamic" (including wall paper setting.)

My wall paper, however, is a solid color. It looks like this setting is overriding the dynamic wallpaper of Natural Desktop. If I tweek the wallpaper in display properties, the sample view on the panel shows the appropriate image, but when I hit "apply" I see a quick flash of the image, then the color overlays on top and the wall paper disappears.

When I first installed the program, the background image was OK. When I deleted a few folders on the desktop, the wallpaper also disappeared, leaving me in the position I am now - a boring wallpaper that doesn't change.

Suggestions? I tried rebooting, and I tried stopping and restarting Natural Desktop. Neither trick worked.

had that earlier today
what worked for me was to go to theme tab in properties and change from modified to my current theme

Bichur - thanks for the tip. I gave it a try, saw the screen flash (with the image showing very briefly) then the solid color showing back on top. It didn't work - Natural Desktop is getting the bottom of the z-order stick.

right click desktop, properties, desktop, customize desktop, web, and see if lock the desktop is checked. If so uncheck it. If not, check it, apply exit out - go back and uncheck it.

When I check it prior to starting ND = no wall
right after unchecking = wall

You da' man! Although the "lock desktop" box was unchecked, some goofy file in the "Web Pages" dialog was checked. I unchecked it, saved, and voila - a night-filed desktop. THANKS!

Yeah, Active Desktop can really screw with things (in general, not just ND). It was a nice idea, but not perfectly executed.
