JoWood has announced that they have pulled developer Perception off of the Stargate SG1: The Alliance game due to quality control issues. The decision was made after a reorganization of the company lead to a reevaluation of all of JoWood's current projects.
JoWood did not feel that the 5 million Euro they had sunk into the project was being used wisely, citing quality issues along with fears that Perception would be unable to get the game finished on time. Therefore JoWood has canceled their contract and ties to the developer, which came with publisher Namco, closing JoWood's relationship with them as well. Stargate SG1: The Alliance's fate is largely unknown at this time but with the money already funded and the game near completion it is likely to be shuffled around the company as it organizes until it can be dealt with again.
