Quake IV Multiplayer Details

They've Included Deathmatch...Shocking!

Over at the 10th Annual QuakeCon, Activision managed to announce a few multiplayer details on the upcoming Quake 4. The fourth installment in the now legendary series will come from Activision's buddies over at Raven Software, makers of X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse and Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territories, who are making the Xbox 360 and PC version. Quake 4's multiplayer will include all the old favorites, deathmatch, capture the flag and arena, and will allow gamers to play as the marine forces or the strogg. Quake 4 will be rocket jumping into stores in the fourth quarter.

Yeah, this does actually sounds quite excellent. I've always enjoyed the fast-paced action fo Quake.
