Add contrast and intensity options on widget property configurations?

Sometimes when I use the hue shift in a widget properties window I wish I could adjust 'intensity' (is that the word?) and contrast too.  Would that be possible to add?

It's a tough call. Add too many options and the widget starts to look like a techie thing. At a certain point, it's better to import the widget and make adjustgments to it through the development environment and then re-export the widget.

I think its 'saturation'. While I have sometimes wished for such a control, Tandis makes a good point about clogging the widget/gadget properties panel.

On the other hand, widget makers already have the option to keep whichever properties settings they wish from being seen.

Additionally, if Madam GoodMorphing and I are thinking of the same thing, there isn't a way to adjust intensity/saturation even if one does import the widget. You can adjust Hue, Brightness, Contrast, and Opacity, but apparently not Saturation. The image itself would have to be edited, and if you go that far, you may as well make a custom skin!
