mouse clicks?

I use a program called powerpro for many different things, including remapping mouse buttons. For example. a middle-click on the desktop brings up the start menu (so I can get rid of the taskbar completely), BUT with windowblinds installed these clicks are being ignored (running the StealthOS skin). How can I get this feature back? I've set titlebar behaviour to default to system- instead of skin-settings, I need to do the same for desktop/mouse somehow?

Free version or Full version? Is this the only Object Desktop product you have installed?
Based on limited information the only answer I can come up with is open the display properties - appearance tab - click the "Windowblinds" button - choose "Basic Settings" uncheck the "Use skin sounds (if any)" I think they are tied to nouse clicks.

You could also try adding your powerpro to the exclusion list in "Per Application"

Lastly, there are mouse settings under the User Overrides page - click the "Advanced Settings" button and see how your taskbar clicks work and what options you have.

I don't use the free version and it does have some limitations that I'm not aware of.

Appreciate the reply. It's paid version, 3.0.0. I have desktopX installed too, but never use it. I've tried all your suggestions, none changed the situation, another quirk I dont like is that double-clicking a window's taskbar doesnt toggle min/max as it should. Running Intellipoint software with an MS optical, and I've tested double-click speeds etc in control panel. The skin (stealthOS) has no "smartbuttons"...

Addendum: I've just installed the free 4.6 from betanews.com and the middle-click on desktop now works as normal, BUT double-clicking a titlebar still doesnt toggle min/max state

That would be the shareware version you got at betanews. Clicking the taskbar to min/max is probably a full version feature but not sure.

You can set the double click action on the title bar in the

try using overrides. it is bound to be there.

Both those options are already set to system, but still a double-click does nothing, however good old powerpro came through, I can now middle-click (not double-click as I wrongly said before) a caption bar for the window to max/normalise

for example i have minimize on right-click on the titlebar

Interesting, can I do this with an existing skin (ie stealthOS), using the freeware download?
