Stuff going on...
but not as much as usual.

Well, it's about time I added something in my sporadic page of articles. My last (rather tragic) entry was apologising to Steve Grenier for a less than positive comment on his Tiger skin - which was a bad thing to do! Sigh.
So what's been happening (man). Since the last skin pack I've been slightly less busy on the WB front, but that was intentional. I think you need to take a break regularly to let the creative juices circulate a while, and mine have been stagnating for a while!
But, during that time I've had chance to play around with Windows Media Player for two skins (One for an English cricket team's website - so that they can watch clips of their fellows playing, using a skin with their own team colours), and one for an online radio station (which was technically quite challenging - I learnt quite a few new useful things about WMP because of that, which is a nice side product).
As far as WB goes, I've been doing a skin for Stardock which isn't quite ready to be released yet, but is quite nice, and a DirectSkin for a Scottish company's financial application, which most people might not get the chance to see (note to self: get some snapshots done for the website...).
And... finally, I have one other WB skin ticking over. There will be a new skin pack which I'll hopefully have ready sometime in the autumn - I'll probably release the free one at the same time as the pack. Of course, I haven't started that yet...
And while all that's going on, I have a 75th anniversary concert with Marton Operatic Society to conduct (tomorrow! aaagh!) , and a show in rehearsals twice a week ('The Sorcerer' by Gilbert and Sullivan), opening for a week at the end of September.
Busy busy busy...
(oh - and thank you to MikeB and Koop for being genuinely nice guys.)
