Social & Military Improvement Bug

Ever since I downloaded the new version, I can't build ships or social improvements. I had this ability before. Is there a way to re-download the improvement without the entire file. I only have dial-up.

That would seem to suggest that the installation failed somewhere. If that's the case, you probably will need to redownload the base game (5.3MB, IIRC. Takes about 30 min on a 22.4kbaud connection).

You don't need to download the multimedia unless you want the background music, animated planets, and the other flashy stuff.

David, what specifically is going wrong? Is the list not appearing on the planet screen?

Arturus: there's an option somewhere (I think under tools->folder options) that makes single click to open stuff. Maybe you have that checked?
