Boot Skin Help

My skin works, sort of.

I just recently made my own BootSkin skin for my computer. It works but for some reason when my computer boots, my skin has a blue tint to everything. How can I fix this? It's 4bit (16 colors). In the preview it looks fine, just during the actual boot.

Thanks for the help, in advance.

Both the boot image AND the progress bar MUST have the same palette.

It's not just enough to each have 16 colours...they MUST have the exact same colours...or in other words only have colours from the SAME 16...

Let's see if we can define the situation 100% exactly so it's 'quotable'...as this is probably THE most common problem/question.

A Boot image [background wall] has 16 specific shades of blue, say...and is therefore a 4 bit image of 16 colours.

The choice of colour, or colours for the corresponding progress bar image is ONLY allowed to be one [or more] of those same 16 shades of blue.....and not purple, or green, or a 17th shade of blue.

This is called 'using the same palette'.

The 16 colours initially chosen can be ANY 16 colours....but the WHOLE boot 'skin' must only be made from them, and them alone.

And to clarify, 16 colours = 4 bit.  16 bit is a wee bit more than 16 colours.
