Not to be outdone by Ubisoft, Electronic Arts has announced that it will also invest $2.6 million into the booming Montreal game development sector, with an extra $660,000 from the Quebec government. EA already has EA Canada, which opened in 2003, based in Montreal where it employs 100 people. The cash flow is part of a plan to train and hire several hundred more people largely due to pressure that Ubisoft put on the region earlier this year.
