feature request and a bug

I'd really like for the added option of telling one race to make peace with another, it would be extremely useful, and makes sense too, the US does it constantly.

The game crashed to desktop when i had a freighter selected but not visible, then i double clicked on the small icon from the orbit listing area. Perhaps double clicking there should make the screen zoom to the ship?

I agree. And the logic can be fairly simple. Issue an ultimatim. They party you issue it to MUST offer peace to the other party in the war. The results of the offer can then be reported to you so you can decide who to jump on...

That's what it's supposed to do, and the crash problem should be fixed in the latest build.
