Actually you want to use the "Power Off" docklet, Right click on the dock, choose "Add Entry" scroll down to "Power Off" Don't use a normal shortcut entry.

The above assumes you have the Plus version.

You can also check out Corky_O's Object Dock Tutorial found here Link it shows the setup structure so you can add backgrounds, icons and png's as well as docklets.

You could use Steve Gibson's Wizmo, which will allow you to create a shortcut to shut down your computer.

The first time you run it, it will show you the instructions:

Also, I am having an issue with my Qwest shortcut, it connects fine but gives me no option to dissconnect, I must have to set it up differently, any ideas??

The PowerOff docklet https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=4599&LibID=29 does not come with OD+..... Lantec must have downloaded it in the past, and forgot.

Sorry, can't help with Qwest.

I have a batch file (actually a *.cmd) that has shutdown.exe /f (I think) that I linked to in OD+. Fast and easy. I also have one that deletes all temp files, runs spybot in the background, and defrags before shutting down. Nice.
