F.E.A.R. Director's Cut Official

Pre-orderers Save $5

Vivendi Universal Games has officially announced what has been suspected for sometime, a Director's Edition to their supernatural FPS F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon). The Director's Edition will come at the same price as the standard version to players who pre-ordered it, yes people who pre-ordered it before it was even announced. Otherwise the exclusive content, a "Making of F.E.A.R." documentary, a developer’s roundtable commentary video, live action "declassified" interviews with Alma, and an exclusive F.E.A.R. machinima episode from Rooster Teeth Productions of Red vs. Blue fame, will cost gamers an extra $5.

Monolith, the company behind No One Lives Forever, developed the close-quarters combat game with rich atmosphere and an engaging, paranormal horror storyline. F.E.A.R. has already garnered a following after receiving Best Action Game of E3 2005 and over one million downloads of its single-player demo released in August. Prepared to be scared October 18th.
