No sound or music at all

I installed the .31[b].002 release - my first on this computer, and ran the configure for the game, launching it from there when I was done. Once the game was launched, I changed audio options to turn on all music/sound, and set volume to 100, but still at no point in the game do I get any sound. I have a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card, which works fine and is using the 5.12.4.522 drivers from creative (posted 7.2004). Stopping, restarting, retiring, load/save all have no effect.

Did you download the multimedia package as well as the core game package?

Doh! It didn't look like part of the game (had its own star icon next to it so it didn't seem like a sub-file), so I didn't get it - I see it now. My apologies to all for not noticing this sooner. First time beta testing. Much better now.
