WB compatibility issues?

I've never had any issues with any stardock program, until a few days ago. My sister asked me to download the newest version of Yahoo! Messenger so I could send her a picture. Well, I deleted the old one, downloaded the new one, and it wouldn't work. So I deleted the new one, ran all the proper cleaning functions, and then redownloaded the new one, and still it wouldn't work. It works on my husband's desktop, and he doesn't use WB. The only other person I heard of having any similiar probs is my sister in law, and she uses WB also. So I thought, ok, I'll try this. I unloaded WB and voila! Yahoo messenger works. Needless to say, I liked it better BEFORE, when yahoo didn't work, because I was all matchy and now I'm all ugly. Any suggestions?

You might try going into WB then per application under settings on the left and add the Yahoo messenger to it so it won't be skinned.

wow that's kinda weird - i have the latest version of Y!messenger w/ voice, - and have had no problems at all, and i dont' have it excluded in window blinds - it uses it's own skin, just like all the AOL beta products i have do also, without needing to exclude them. hm, oh well, glad you got it fixed
