Playboy Teases Gamers

Female Characters in the Buff, Again

Playboy has once again teamed up with numerous video game publishers to create an issue based around video game vixens. The current issue of Playboy has various articles and insight into the future of the gaming market, all leading into the spread of game characters in the buff. The lucky ladies include Carla from Indigo Prophecy, a cheerleader for Blitz: The League, a lady from God of War, 50 Cent: Bulletproof, Playboy: The Mansion -- Private Party, Darkwatch and Hellgate: London.

Last year's video game issue turned out to be a huge hit and Playboy has said this year they "literally had to turn away six or seven publishers." To garner even more popularity the adult magazine is going to be placing the pictures on a set of eight cards, which will be split over two different special editions. Therefore if players want to see all the images they will have to purchase both editions and then use the cards to solve a puzzle that will reveal a ninth image.

After the "Hot Coffee" mix-up with Grand Theft Auto, Playboy was quick to address a sexual content defense. "Wherever you stand on which is worse for kids -- sex or violence -- the issue really is there's content for grownups and there's content for kids," said Scott Alexander, senior editor for Playboy. "Playboy is a magazine for adults. We report on adult topics, such as oil prices. Generation Pokemon doesn't really care about that."

Which video game character would you like to see?

Never quite understood the apparent fascination for naked video game characters but to each their own...

So it would seem....  I just think it would be better all around if the fascination was on the real kind.
