Eight Year Old Game Gets Add-on

3D Realms has finally released the long awaited add-on to Shadow Warrior, an FPS that dates back to 1997. The add-on, which even at eight years, has taken less time than 3D Realms' Duke Nukem Forever, was shelved after completion by the distributor, and then thought lost when Sunstorm Interactive went out of business.
Fast forward to last week, Anthony Campiti, former Sunstorm President, dug up a CD labeled 'Add-on Archive 1' after looking through his archives, only to discover that it was the finished version of Wanton Destruction. After the years of searching the game was finally found and shipped off to 3D Realms to be resurrected. Quite the tale and to top it off 3D Realms is now offering the add-on for FREE but a full, unmodified version 1.2 of Shadow Warrior will be needed (and is on sale at the 3D Realms store).
Only in the game business folks.
