I don't have the Oxidised suite myself, but if the file is a .zip you should probably unzipp the file first. Besides a wallpaper (either .jpg or .bmp extension) there should be a .wba file. This is your Windowblinds and all you have to do is double-click on this file and you will get a little 'balloon' telling you that a new WindowBlinds has been installed. You can then just click on this 'balloon' and the skin will be applied. If you are not fast enough try the following..

Right-click on the Windowblind icon in your system tray > click on 'Configure WindowBlinds' and choose the Oxidised skin from the menu.

Oxidized includes:

1 - A WindowBlind
2 - An Icon Package
3 - A wallpaper
4 - A clock/weather widget (and DX object of the same)
5 - A calendar widget (and DX object of the same)
6 - A launchbar widget (and DX object of the same)
7 - A meters widget (and DX object of the same)
8 - A media-player DX object
9 - A bootskin
10 - A tabbed background for ObjectDock Plus.

You should have received two download links, one for the "Oxidized.suite" file, and one for a "Oxidized_Boot_Dock_Walls_Widgets.zip" file.

For the intended application of the suite, you would need the following programs installed on the computer:

- WindowBlinds
- IconPackager
- DesktopX
- Theme Manager
- ObjectDock Plus
- Bootskin

You do not need to have Bootskin to get your desktop to match the screenshots of Oxidized suite, and you can use the free version of ObjectDock which would allow some use of the ObjectDock background included.

The easiest way would be to install the WindowBlinds, Icon Packager, DesktopX, and Theme Manager programs, and then double-click the Oxidized.suite file to install the following:

- WindowBlinds skin
- Icon Package
- Oxidized Wallpaper

After that, you can extract the contents of the ".zip" file to the same location that you downloaded it to, and double-click the widgets (".exe" files) to load them.

That would leave the media-player, Bootskin, and ObjectDock backgrounds undone, but will get you started.

Note - IconPackager is a 30 day trial, so you would at least have 30 days to use the IconPackage - and then make a decision whether to purchase or not.

Theme Manager is a free download.

All the programs can be found here at Stardock via the home page listings on the left-side of the page.

I would recommend that you wait on Bootskin, to get comfortable with these other programs first.

Sorry for the long comment.

Sharp12,

If you have problems with the widgets, run the objects instead.
