Problems with Installation

I am quite new to this but every time that I install object bar, my desktop, icons etc. are flickering so much that I have to uninstall the program. Could anyone know why this would be happening? I have tried it several times but with no success. I have the other Object Desktop programs installed with no problems whatsoever. I am just wondering why I am unable to install this one particular program?

I don't know and can't look at mine since I'm at work, so I'll just ask questions once in a while to get info that may be needed later.
