Release of 2.0

When will version 2.0 be available?
I've been using the 2.0 beta preview for 9 months.

It is almost ready ... The new beta is being tested and it is very stable but according to Brad (FrogBoy) they can't release it as they are NOT satisfied with it.

According to to Him:

Stardock can only do its best at estimating when software will come out. But software often runs late. It's a fact of life. Arguably, the last beta of ObjectBar could have been slapped with a 2.0 and put out there. It's pretty stable. But we aren't quite yet satisfied with it. We aren't going to put out software that we don't feel is ready to meet an arbitrary deadline. Users should make their purchases based on what's available, not based on what they hope will be available.

I completely agree, though I have been worried about the lack of any new betas published to the public in the last months showing a lack of support for this.

I'd rather it take time and be done right, then just shoved out there. The beta out there now is functional, though I agree not satisfactory yet.

We are getting quite occasional betas internally we just haven't been releasing them (we probably should so that people can see that things are progressing).

The current internal build has RSS feeds as a native feature. We are also trying to incorproate color and spacing controls directly into ObjectBar (instead of relying on the skin).
