Is Desktop X pro the right choice?

Your e-mail said you can't make stand alone desktops with it.

I would like to know what version would allow me to make stand alone desktops [exe files] and what it costs. Your e-mail didn't provide that information, so I can't make any kind of cost comparison. Thanks,

Only pro allows you to make standalone gadgets. For list of prices: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/purchase.asp

Not that you can't create standalone desktop replacements with Pro. (not allowed by the license) For that you have to talk to Stardock about obtaining a Enterprice license.
