Things I hate to write down

With over 1GHz, a gob of memory and tons of disk space I am still forced to resort to writing things down on paper. To help me lose my dependency on environmentally incorrect behaviour I would like to see the following features, perhaps grouped under an "Encyclopedia Arcanum" panel:

1. Logging of the planets that heve been seen, sortable by habitability and maybe even distance & direction.

2. Similarly, locations of observed anomalies, and classification of surveyed anomalies. I HATE thinking an anomaly is a research bump and finding it is a worm hole. There needs to be a way for a survey ship to classify the anomaly, even if one has to sacrifice a couple movement points or possibly a whole turn to accomplish it. Subsequently the classification should appear on a mouse-over.

I currently note the location within the sector Top/Middle/Bottom Left/Center/Right and would like to see locations at least that finely grained.

2) Do you mean show on the minimap where they are?

I'm not sure what you mean by the last comment...

I saw it in your overview after I posted. I do like "Encyclopedia Arcanum" as the panel title though. ;)

That would be cool, if one zooms in to get the sector large enough to discern it. I was actually thinking something simpler: the X,Y of the the map and then the X,Y in the sector like 12,26/5,9 I couldn't do that in my notes because I had no ruler in the display map to accurately place the anomaly within the sector, so I faked it with a tic-tac-toe grid to narrow it down.
