AQUA???

Im very new to skinning/icon creating and I had a question for some people who have more experience. Im pretty much a self-taught graphic designer and im not very keen on all the termonology that goes along with it. I keep seeing the word "aqua" attached to several icons posted throughout this site and I was wondering what it meant. I mean obviously these icons have a liquid almost glossy effect to them, but i was curious if the term aqua referred to a certain technique that was used or color or what. Is it a tool in photoshop or some other program? I was just curious because I really liked the way alot of them looked and would like to maybe emulate the style. Thanks alot!

Aqua is a Mac theme from a couple years back. Many people seem to want their Windows PCs to look like Macs. To each his own, personally I want my PC to look different from just about anything out there, especially Macs.
