Please someone tell me why it is that life is so complicated. For instance, if someone hates their job and loathes nearly every aspect of their thankless self-imposed quarantine from sunshine, what is stopping is stopping them from immediately quitting and begin using a machete to hack out a new career path? To answer my own question, everything.
