Eidos has announced in its business review that its upcoming third person urban action game, 25 to Life, has been delayed until 2006. The game was originally scheduled for an October 2005 release for Xbox, PS2 and PC, and the delay has affected all platforms.
Following the recent management change and restructure, Eidos is able to reevaluate its calendar of releases giving us the opportunity to make changes in the best interest of the business," stated Bill Gardner, CEO of US Publishing. "It is in light of this review that we have decided to move the ship date for 25 to Life from October 2005 into next year."
25 to Life allows players to experience lifestyles of criminals and the police who track them, complete with a realistic urban setting. The game hopes to deliver an in-depth single player mode and an eight vs. eight online mode, which will incorporate urban culture including clothes and music.
