System Tray Icons Huge

System Tray Icons Huge

Hello, I am running windows 2k sp4 and Windowblinds 4.6. My problem is no matter what skin I use the system tray icons become very large and distorted looking. When I switch back to default skin though it goes away. Any help is appreciated because I cant use this program if it is going to cause issues like this.

BlueNoob,

WindowBlinds Configuration panel > Settings > Per Application > Add per application setting > navigate to executible for program, and select it > choose from the pop-up dialog the type of exclusion - total exclusion, parts of interface, etc.

This allows users to run WindowBlinds, and at the same time disable or limit the skinning of applications that conflict or do not operate correctly when skinned.

Ok thank you both very much. I just added it to the list, hopefully it stays the right size.

One more question, for some reason trillian no logner flashes when I recieve and IM. Is this normal?

It's not normal for WB to interfere with the systray. I'll have to assume this is a problem specific to Win2000. I don't have any experience with Win2000 and WB. It may help to re-install Trillian with Windowblinds running.

I just did quite a few searches through the forums for any W2K problems with Windowblinds and there just aren't any. I'm thinking maybe you have a bad install or you need to upgrade your video card drivers. My suggestion would be to try the Video Driver upgrade first. Old drivers may not support the kind of technology used in the latest builds of Windowblinds. If that doen't help uninstall Windowblinds and then reinstall.

One thing more I just thought of, if your using the free version it doesn't skin all the interface anyway and if not did you uninstall the free version BEFORE installing the paid version? If you didn't it can screw up your installation.
