Problem with applying Icon package

Hi!

I have a certain problem when trying to apply Encoded icon package. When I double click on the icon package file, I get the following error: ''The icons for the Windows XP Classic Start Menu cannot be changed. This is currently a limitation within the operating system, and not a problem with the IconPackager application.''

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

There's no problem, everyone who uses the program has that same warning box come up.

Do they? Well, how come that no icons change then? I should probably also mention that everything works with icon packages that come with the program, but not with those I download from wincustomize!

You get that error message because Windows does not allow changing of the icons in a "classic" start menu, Icon Packager just warns you of this beforehand. You should instead use the Windows XP start menu:

-Right click on the taskbar, and select properties.
-Click on the "Start Menu" tab
-Make sure that the "Start Menu" option is selected and not "Classic Start Menu"

As for the icons not showing up issue when using Icon Packager:

-Select the icon package you would like to apply
-Click "Load"
-Click "Apply"

At this point, the icons should all be applied. If there are specific icon packages that are not being applied, you will need to contact the developer of the icon package.

Thanx for your advices, Mike! However, it still does not work. My Start Menu WAS selected right (it wasn't classic Start Menu) and still same stuff happens. When I double click on icon package file, Icon Packager opens and nothing happens. I can Load and Apply packages that already came with the application, but I can't install new packages - when I click on ''Install from disk'' and select the icon package, I get the following error: ''No icon package was found in file: ...''

I don't know where the problem lies, maybe something about icon library, since there's only one file I got with icon package Encoded, and packages which came with Icon Packager all have folder with Icon library file and Theme file.
