we don't have any real heroes,
Frankenfuter in heels and pink boa
is still the sexiest man alive, but there's
no wild man standing or screaming, protesting,
fighting to set the world free,
we call corporate takeovers and the expansion of oil fields--
liberation, democratization, freedom,
free to be oppressed.
right. more of that socialist crap, "don't you know Marx is dead?"
dreaming of utopia is dead, we're not supposed to do that anymore.
dreams and dreamers only matter if it pays hard cold cash
and buys another Paul Allen yacht for a fleet of empty bellies,
no shame, no embarrassment, no excuses,
A kingdom to the righteous--the beneficiaries of millions
of broken souls hoping for $50.00 micro-loans and an internet
connection,
there are no heroes anymore, they've all been piled with the
