4 USers on same computer

I, my wife and 2 kids each have a login on the same WinXP computer at home. I have a DesktopX 3.1 and would like to know if I can have a different desktop for each of us or must I purchase a multi-user licence to do so? I tried to open DesktopX 3.1 from my wife's login but it didn't work.
Thanks in advance for any help.

We only have 3 users (me,wife,child).. we have 3 DTX desktops, we get our own cursorxp, wb, etc. The only thing that seems to be one size fits all is iconpackager.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Do you have 3 licenced copies of DTX or you have created and are using 3 desktops? If you have 1 copy of DTX and are using 3 different desktops (one for each user) how are you doing this? This is what I want to do.

Thanks

one copy - one license - one computer - 3 different desktops

for the life of me, i can't remember if i did anything special to get it to my wifes, but i don't think so...cuz i didn't for my daughter --- she was four and was playing a game, lost it and tried to open in again and dragged all my folders in the games folder into each other...so all i did was set her up an account she can access to get to her games installed on the computer.

is your wife's account an admin or limited account - can't remember if it matters but it might

can't remember cuz mine's been working alright since 2003

My wife's account is an administrator's account. When I logged on to her account and selected "My Computer" then "C:" then "program Files" etc. to the DTX directory and double clicked on the desktopx.exe file or the welcome.exe file nothing happened. I don't understand.

is it separate or did you get the whole ObjectDesktop package?
does it show in the start menu?
