Colonization Bug...

I'm not sure if anyone has reported this or not yet, but I just had something wierd happen.

I had just built a colony ship and clicked on it, in preparation to launch it. I then clicked on a planet in the system that was not colonized. That planet was then colonized with a 0 population.

It tooke me a moment to realize what had happened. In order to make sure I hadn't lost my mind, I tried it again. I now have two planets with 0 populations.

In addition to that just being very strange, the next turn one of those planets had a 1 population. The turn after that, the planets had populations of 1 and 3.

This is already known, in part. The recent addition of the ability to colonize in-system causes that.

I would assume that it was not intentional that the planet would end up with a population of 0, but attempting to adjust the population either causes the ship to launch normally or fails to take effect.

Interesting. It must not be setting a default count immediately when that window opens. It should be a quick fix.
