Gold Game Delayed
Shrapnel Games Blames Manufacturing Error

Shrapnel Games had to announce today, much to its own embarrassment, that Star and the Crescent, a game it had declared 'gold' has actually been delayed. Although the title is finished, the delay has come out of a manufacturing problem, named as "a minor problem with CD production the title will not ship within the timeframe originally planned." The timeframe has instead been shifted a few days with Shrapnel Games looking to ship the game out on October 17.
"It is of course disappointing," Timothy W. Brooks, President and founder of North Carolina based Shrapnel Games said, "but unfortunately sometimes things happen beyond your control. In this case Mr. Murphy made himself quite known. For everyone who has been anticipating this title we apologize for the delay and ask for your patience. It shouldn't be too much longer."
Hey, at least they didn't press a virus onto their disc like one company did.
