WB5 Beta 1B -> Skin Corruptions & x64 Timeline?
from
WinCustomize Forums
First, the bug. I'm finding quite often that when I minimize, maximize or restore my windows using WB51B with either the Arrow skin or the updated KoL VistaXP skin the screen doesn't redraw properly and leaves the window's remnants on the underlying windows. For example, as I type this, I have Firefox open and maximized on a second monitor. If I restore it and move it, it leaves the image of the maximized Firefox window underneath. It seems to be a redraw issue, and seeing as this software is beta, I'm hoping this bug report will help. In order to get rid of the ghosting, I have to kill and restart explorer.exe. (At least I'm not having the rundll32 error like everybody else!
)
(Just for info, here's my TS Report:
WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report:
STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+
WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.
You have 2 monitors.
(Dell 1704FPT (Analog)) 1 is attached to Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
(Dell 1704FPT (Analog)) 2 is attached to Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
'NetMeeting driver' also exists as device '\\.\DISPLAYV1', but is not attached to the desktop and is a mirror driver.
'RDPDD Chained DD' also exists as device '\\.\DISPLAYV2', but is not attached to the desktop and is a mirror driver.
Now, for the second issue, has any kind of timeline been released for WB5 Beta on Windows x64? I use that as my primary OS on my desktop, and I'm missing the transparencies already. Any update would be appreciated!

I suppose you guys and gals know better than I do how much of your userbase uses x64, though.
