Interface Question & Music Problems

1. At the bottom under the interface buttons I noticed I have a bar with double arrows at both ends. What is this for?

2. I can get no regular music. Musice is on and the volume is turned up. The cfg file in the data folder says volume is set to 90 and music is not disabled. Will try doing mp3's and maybe this will be the way to go, but it should work. All other sounds work fine, am using some posted mods but they are just adding to the tech tree nothing that should affect this.

I am running the Expansion Pack and latest Beta version of it.

Okay sorry I answered Question 1. Though the buttons don't seem to work correctly. It will say one song hit the forward button it will say another but if you hit the back button it will say yet another different song. Is it supposed to be random?

Also my second question should be can I get it to go back to normal in game music?

goto to the options screen and turn Player list off and it will go back to the game music

Thank you I get it now. I am using Musicmatch to record my CD's to MP3's. I then load the Default playlist. Does anyone know how to make a playlist? I think this is why I get random songs when I use the buttons at the bottom of the screen. And seeing MP3's are better to listen to I will use them. Thanks bakka for your answer and I thank anyone in advance for an answer to my creating a playlist question.

I created my playlist in windows media player and saved as a m3u file in the playlist(?) directory of the game. this even works even if your music is on another machine on a LAN.

You can also put you mp3's in the playlist directy and as long as you have no m3u file in the directory the game will creat a default list based on the mp3's already there.

it's been a while since i did this so these instructions may have inaccuracies in them.
