Mythic Entertainment has announced that they will be creating a new server type for their popular MMORPG, Dark Age of Camelot. With the sixth expansion for the title coming soon, the developer decided to return to the game's roots and has begun to implement a new mode, which will be called "Classic."
The "Classic" server will be focused on casual gamers and will downplay the amount of time or number of accounts a player decides to spend/have. The server, which will be up "in a few weeks," will offer "a variation of the current game by restricting access to some mighty magical powers and objects which can only be obtained through complex and lengthy quests in the Trials of Atlantis expansion." The new Classic server will be launching in the European realms using English, with there being no word on a "Classic" server for other areas as of yet.
